01.11.20 Tangerines
My next door neighbor’s tangerine tree is bursting at the seams. In accordance with our food bartering, he asked me to harvest some of them near my side of the fence. This heaping pile represents maybe 5 % of the ripe tangerines on the tree. There are those tangerines that you sit down and eat by the pile full. Not the case with this tangy, tart variety. But, they make a fabulous juice. I squeezed in some fresh lavender for an extra ounce of calm.
