06.18.20 Ruby Red Grapefruit

I haven’t had ruby red grapefruit this good since we lived in Texas. Sorry Texas, these are proof that we make them just as good in California. My daughter went with friends to pick fruit at an orchard in Fallbrook and she brought home bags of peaches, kumquats and these ruby reds. The peaches didn’t last long enough to even take a photo of them. You’ll just have to trust me that they were that good. At least with grapefruit, you are guaranteed to have one because you need a knife, some patience to cut around the triangles, and a spoon to scoop out the fruit. And, what a flavor.
